1. Indian Air Force invites applications from Qualified Engineers / Final year Engineering students (Men & Women) for induction as Permanent / Short Service Commissioned Officers in its Technical branches. Advertisement for the same has been published in Employment News dated 7 August 2010 and other leading national / regional daily newspapers on 08 August 2010.

2. All the details, such as, educational qualifications, age, procedure for selection, application format and other relevant information has been adequately covered in the advertisement. A copy of advertisement along with application format is attached herewith.

3. Eligible and willing candidates can apply as per procedure mentioned in the advertisement. The last date for receipt of applications is 07 Sep 2010.

4. You are requested to disseminate the above information amongst the eligible candidates of your Institute pursuing final year engineering. The information may also be passed on to the candidates those who have recently graduated and are keen to join Indian Air Force. The selection process is for 79 AEC (Men) / 51 SSC (Men & Women) courses which will commence in July 2011.
